Harry Kane just can’t stop scoring goals. The Spurs’ goal-scoring machine bagged another hat-trick in Tottenham’s visit to Hull City of the last 38th round in The Premier League. The Spurs eventually recorded a smashing 7-1 victory at The KCOM Stadium.
The 23-year-old striker grabbed his first chance in the 11th minute and sent the ball into the net after a good shot with his left foot from outside the box. It took him only two minutes to double the score. Kieran Trippier provided the assist. 0-2! The Spurs didn’t stop putting Hull City under pressure and Dele Alli made the score 3-0 two minutes inside the stoppage time.
After the break, the hosts looked better on the pitch and logically Sam Clucas managed to score a goal for The Tigers. However, just 3 minutes later Victor Wanyama scored his 4th Premier League goal of the season after a good Eriksen’s cross from a free-kick. Then, Harry Kane recorded his hat-trick in the 72nd minute. The forward saw himself one-on-one with the keeper and had no problems to find the net.
The morale of the Hull City’s players dramatically dropped and Tottenham Hotspur scored two more goals until the end of the game. The Welsh defender Ben Davies scored his first of the season with a beautiful strike from outside the penalty area. The humiliation for Hull was full, as Toby Alderweireld also scored his first goal of the campaign in the 87th minute.
That was Tottenham’s 26th victory of the season in The Premiership. The Mauricio Pochettino’s players finished with 86 points, which is a record for them in The Premier League. The second place was absolutely deserved by them. They could even have fought better for the title, but Chelsea were also unstoppable.
In conclusion, we expect a strong new campaign from The Spurs, no matter they won’t be playing at White Hart Lane. They have a very good team with a lot of skillful players. So, they can make a request for the title in the next campaign.
